The Peacock Vocal Music Department performed the spring musical, Guys and Dolls, on Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15, 1999 at 7:00 p.m., in the Peacock Gymnasium. The first performance coincided with the Fine and Applied Arts Show, the second was our encore performance. We also offered a school day performance for the student body on Tuesday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. This year, the cast and crew included one-hundred and forty two students. Every morning the music room and cafeteria were filled with the sounds of rehearsal. The sets, built by the amazing "Industrial Technology and Magic" crew, took form all over the stage. Costumes were churned out with the expert advice of the Home Economics department and the costume crew. And each day after school, several crews were busy painting the sets for the many scenes.
